The work of the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance

Victoria Hume @CHWAlliance

The Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance launched in 2018 as a sector support organisation, funded by Arts Council England, to be there for everyone who believes that our health and wellbeing can be transformed by creative activity of all kinds, and by working with our astonishing cultural resources – museums, libraries, galleries, parks, landscape – wherever we find our culture and our space to think and be.

We have a membership of 3,500 and this is growing. We are a diverse group of museum practitioners, local councils, health commissioners, artists, social care providers and many others.
