For some time I have been more and more likely to build short run kits of armoured vehicles. Of course, this mainly concerns the more recent releases, which are a showcase of both a high level of skills of their designers and some limitations of the moulding technology. These models are therefore well developed and advanced on one hand, but on the other hand they require a substantial amount of time and effort spent on cleaning up the parts. Nonetheless, seams are present even in the kits moulded using the most advanced tooling, and you cannot fully avoid sanding etc. with any model.
Short run kits require more attention, but the final effect is often the same or even more convincing as in the case of the kits from full metal moulds, and we often get a chance to model vehicles which fell out of favour of mainstream manufacturers. That was the case with this M41 Walker Bulldog kit from the Ukrainian brand Armory Models.
