Sounds crazy right? Like 100% of humans on this little blue world of ours, I’ve got worries and problems but when I build, sand and paint they all just fade away. Modelling has been my saviour when the waters get rough and I have no other safe harbour to sail to.

Yes, it seems strange but we who build have “creativity” -Ifeel like having that saying printed on a t-shirt - and that in itself can take you to a different place, sharpening the mind and bringing the world into focus.

I used to read a science fiction book a week while travelling to work on the train and one saying comes to mind, but don’t ask me what book it was from. It was “nobody walks alone”. This struck a chord with me at the time, and still does to be honest. We all share a passion for the hobby and that can be our collective saving grace.
