The Ursus wz.29 armoured car entered service with the Polish Army in 1930.
It was armed with French 37 mm Puteaux SA-18 gun and two 7,92 mm Hotchkiss machine guns and sufficiently armoured for its era, but had poor off-road properties due to the underpowered engine and lack of all-wheel drive.
Only between 10 to 13 vehicles were built.
Eight of them took part in the Polish campaign in 1939, being assigned to the 11th armoured squadron of the Masovian Cavalry Brigade. Despite obsolescence their combat record is reported to be relatively successful although all vehicles were eventually lost by mid-September.

The increasing availability of 3D printing technology has allowed many modellers to become kit manufacturers and tackle subjects that would have limited chances to be covered by injection moulded models.
