Luke: Good to have you with us this month Rob. Can you tell us a little of your background what lead you into our little hobby in the first place?
Rob: Thanks, appreciate you having me Luke. As a kid growing up, my father was really into HO scale model railroading. He was always working on this huge layout in our basement. So whenever he would take a run to the local hobby shop, he would bring me along. I would see all the finished Tamiya and Monogram Armor and the 1:72 scale Airfix planes on display in the cabinet there. I must have been around 6 or 7 years old, and it was around that time that I starting building scale models. I stuck with it until my teenage years then as most kids, lost interest a bit with school, sports and hanging out with friends. But it wasn’t until my mother became ill in my early 20s that I was looking for something to take my mind off of all the hardships. So I took a ride to the local hobby shop and once that door opened and I smelled that Floquil paint, I was back and haven’t stopped since.
Luke: Interesting Rob. What got you into Podcasting in the first place? I imagine it takes quite some time to do one can you tell our readers the steps involved.
