A tale of two bridges
Although track laying is taking longer than planned, George Dent has at least finished the two bridges for ‘Lisburn Lane’…
Now that the rail overbridge has been assembled, painted and testfitted, the final obstacle to track laying has been taken care of.
According to my original schedule, track laying and wiring on ‘Lisburn Lane’ should have been complete by now. Alas, time has been scarce either side of Christmas, so I’ve had to prioritise other projects and responsibilities. However, I did manage to make some progress on the two key bridges, which have been built and painted away from the baseboards. Indeed, they have provided ideal small-scale tasks for the winter evenings at home.
