WE HAVE TO LIFE OFF
Headed out of Poole harbour to test the new XO360, we’re not always as lucky as we were on Friday, January 8. Often, we’re lumbered with lovely sunny weather and annoyingly calm seas. So how wonderful for a change to have the perfect conditions to test the new XO360 – horrible, steep, closely spaced seas, made worse by a blustery wind over tide. Conditions that would see many a larger boat scurrying for shelter. So far, we’ve driven fi ve of XO’s superb, ubertough, aluminium-hulled (but glass-fi bre decked) rocketships. Although this quintet have all been much smaller craft, their dominant
characteristic has been the tremendous rough weather performance they all dish up.
