LEWIS PEOMISES A SILVERSTONE FIGHTBACK
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says the double retirement of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas from last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix has been a major wake-up call for the Silver Arrows, and he has pledged that the team will rebound at Silverstone this weekend. Lewis, the current World champion said: “We have to take the positives from Austria, and we were fast. I also think we have a car to be very fast at Silverstone too. We can’t afford to throw away points [and we need to] come back strongly for the next race.”
