A trash heap in the Khan Younis refugee camp becomes a grim playground for Palestinian children on July 29. Two days later, hundreds rallied against recent decisions by the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, which provides protection and aid to some 5 million Palestinian refugees, to scale back operations in Gaza. The reduction came after the Trump administration lowered the amount it promised the agency from $365 million to just $60 million.
