New York—It has been only weeks since Donald Trump won the presidential election, and already he’s mired in controversy. First, the president-elect, seen leaving The New York Times on November 22, suggested he might not put his business in a trust to prevent conflicts of interest. Later, Trump, who lost the popular vote, ranted about a recount effort in three Midwestern states. “I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally,” he tweeted, a baseless charge, analysts say.
