PLANS to bring a cinema back to Fort William have been given the go ahead by Highland Council.
Lochaber Cinema Group (LCG) unveiled their plans at a drop-in consultation session on Saturday afternoon to build a two-screen, 133 capacity cinema facility in the centre of Fort William.
The detailed plans, which have been granted planning permission by the council, outline how two units at Airds Cross (formerly Wynnes Butcher and Oceans takeaway) will be converted into a cinema with an estimated cost in the region of £600,000.
