Nearly 40 cycling enthusiasts took to the roads of the Highlands and Islands recently to raise money for charity. The annual Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy fundraising cycle saw the group depart from Ardbeg Distillery on Islay on July 27 to undertake a four-day, 233-mile cycle to Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain. Colin Hammond, one of Glenmorangie Distillery’s Men of Tain, took part in the cycle to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care in memory of one of his colleagues. The route saw the cyclists ride on day one from Islay to Kennacraig, day two 100km to Oban, day three 150km to Drumnadrochit and day four 80km to the Glenmorangie Distillery.
