A TOTAL of 20 people in Argyll and West Dunbartonshire have been arrested for drink or drug driving over the festive period.
They were among 276 people detected for drink or drug driving between December 2 and January 2 in the west of Scotland. And police have roundly condemned those caught as part of the annual campaign.
Chief Inspector David Mc-Kenzie said it ‘beggars belief that people still put the lives of others and themselves at risk by drink or drug driving’ on our roads.
