The issue of ferries to our island communities is one that is always guaranteed to bring forth strongly-held opinions and generate criticism of CalMac.
Of particular concern – and over a lengthy period of time – is the question of the Mallaig to Armadale route, which last year saw the removal of the MV Coruisk after it was switched to the Oban to Craignure, Mull, crossing to alleviate congestion and a shortfall there.
