What’s happening in and around Oban

I CAN’T believe that it’s Easter already, although I have noticed a definite buzz about the town – it’s amazing what a few rays of sunshine can do, writes Oban ambassador Kay MacDonald.

The first Bid4Oban local market was a great success and I’m already looking forward to the next one on May 27.

We’ve also got a few of the smaller cruise boats starting this weekend – the Stockholm will be visiting and Glen Tarsan and Glen Massan of the Majestic Line will be starting their cruise programmes from Oban, and we’ll also welcome back the Lord of the Glen the following week. It’s lovely to see the bay busy with all shapes and sizes of boats.
