A FATHER of two was branded a danger to the public as he was handed a two-year ban from driving.
Terrence McCarvill, 44, was slammed by Sheriff William Taylor last week (December 7) as he was found guilty of dangerous driving by repeatedly driving on the wrong side of the road and overtaking on blind bends between Glencoe and Fort William.
Fort William Sheriff Court heard the guest house owner from Foyers had been travelling from Glasgow homeward when the offences happened. Three witnesses – including an off-duty police officer – gave accounts of how they had been ‘harassed’ and ‘confused’ by McCarvill’s driving.
