HIGHLANDS and Islands MSP Donald Cameron helped organise a round table meeting focusing on raising awareness of Lyme disease in the Scottish Parliament last week.
The event heard from experts who spoke about existing and developing treatments and diagnostics, raising awareness and a personal account of the disease.
Mr Cameron told us: ‘Lyme disease has been a public health issue for some time, with particularly high prevalence of Lyme disease in parts of the Western Isles, for example.
