AN ARGYLL health chief has taken up a top job in a charity fighting Parkinson’s disease across Scotland, vowing to help the rising number of sufferers access services as budgets are stretched.
Annie Macleod, who was the Oban, Lorn and the Isles locality manager for the Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership, has taken up a role as director of Parkinson’s UK in Scotland.
Annie lives with her husband on the Morvern peninsula, north-west of Oban. She has two grown-up daughters - one is a junior doctor and the other works in social policy research.
