OBAN Camanachd’s game against Kyles Athletic due to be played at Tighnabruich last weekend was called off on the Saturday morning due to an unplayable pich.
The focus now turns to this Saturday when they play Lochaber at Taynuilt Playing Fields for a place in the shinty’s blue riband competition – the Camanachd Cup final.
This is arguably the most important game for the club since that memorable day in Inverness 20 years ago when against the odds Oban Camanachd won the cup defeating the all conquering Kingussie 3-2 in a remarkable final.
