AROUND 40 classic cars attended the annual Motor Fest in its new location in Oban’s refurbished Station Square on Sunday and organisers hope to double numbers for next year.
Previously, the event was held at Mossfield but, due to the construction of a new pitch, it was decided to hold the event in the town centre.
Although fewer cars attended this year, there were far greater crowds to view the vehicles, chairman of the classic car club Kevin Devine said. He added: ‘The new town centre location attracted a lot more people than we normally get.
