PARKING problems on Skye have been identified as an ‘urgent issue’ at the first meeting to address tourism pressures on the island.
Skye MSP Kate Forbes held the meeting at the Aros Centre, Portree, on Friday June 9 with members of the public and representatives from 60 businesses and other organisations.
The purpose was to decide how businesses, public bodies and communities could collaborate to deal with the pressures on infrastructure as the number of tourists continues to grow.
