THE Real Food Café in Tyndrum is taking a stance against consumerist driven Black Friday by raising funds for the charity Toilet Twinning.
The café is one of a growing number of organisations using the day, usually associated with unadulterated consumerism, to highlight the needs of others.
This week, until tomorrow’s Black Friday (November 24), the café has been raising money for the world Toilet Twinning project which is working to bring safer sanitation and clean toilets to the one in three people who are without across the world.
