ONE OF NHS Highland’s senior nurses, Pat Tyrrell, who is based in Oban, is retiring after 37 years of service with the NHS in Scotland.
The board’s deputy director of Nursing and Midwifery has had a long and varied career which has taken her the length and breadth of the country – the last 10 years with NHS Highland.
Pat intends to take a long holiday with her husband. The three-month trip will include travelling across Europe and taking the Trans Siberian railway across Russia, Siberia, Mongolia and China.
