’Much missed around Soroba’

Residents of Soroba have thanked the the area’s former caretaker for her work by giing her a ‘lovely hamper’. Before retiring, Vivian Ritz helped ensure Soroba was looking its best for more than a decade. Working for Argyll Community Housing Association, Vivian also helped at the Ledaig Travelling People’s site and in the association’s sheltered housing complexes at Dunmar Court, Oban, and Ford Spence Court, Benderloch.

To say thanks, a collection was placed in Soroba Stores. Resident Nicola Wilson said: ‘With our generous donations, we managed to gi Vivian a lovely hamper. ‘We hope Vivian enjoys her retirement; she thoroughly deserves it, but she is missed around Soroba. ‘A huge thank you has to be given to Soroba shop for holding the collection and for its donation of a lovely bottle of Prosecco.
