WHEN police raided a 52-yearold woman’s Oban home they found her sitting on heroin with a street value of £1,500.
Patricia Ashley McGuire had hidden the 22 grams of heroin beneath her as she lay under a blanket on the sofa at her home at 2B Sinclair Street, on May 7. She admitted possessing the drug with intent to supply and she was also on bail at the time.
Sheriff Ruth Anderson QC was told at the town’s sheriff court on Monday that the drug, if divided up into ‘tenner bags’, would have made £1,500.
