A man accused of drink driving on Tiree has had his case continued aTher his blood test was questioned.
Donald Macdonald, 41, of 10 Reef Terrace, Crossapol, Tiree, denied driving with more than four times the legal alcohol limit on the B8065 near Scarinish on August 25 last year. The charge says Macdonald read 213 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, when the legal limit is 50 milligrammes.
Constable Stephen Tanner, Tiree’s only police offcer, told Oban Sheriff Court that, following an anonymous report, he took his partner for corroboration to a local hotel.
