Woman aims to raise awareness of MS misconceptions

KAREN Pickering from Argyll lives with multiple sclerosis (MS) and is raising awareness of misconceptions people with the condition face.

This comes as the MS Society releases findings from a survey into the stigma people living with MS have to deal with. The survey shows that almost half of people with MS feel they have experienced mistreatment or stigma because of their symptoms, while 12 per cent aren’t sure if they have experienced it.
