Mairi MacColl and son Calum and daughter Fiona with Clare Frances MacNeil, the winner of the new Mòd trophy awarded in memory of Charlie MacColl.
A SPECIAL ceilidh was held during this year’s Royal National Mòd in Lochaber in memory of the late Charlie MacColl, known affectionately as ‘The Mòd Father’.
During his time as convener of the Royal National Mòd, when it was held in Lochaber a decade ago, Mr MacColl ran a very successful ‘Convener’s Ceilidh’ in the old Caol Community Centre.
