ISLAY veterans have received a £17,000 boost from a fund created by the UK Government after the Libor financial scandal.
The proceeds from Libor fines are being used to support Armed Forces and Emergency Services charities and other related good causes.
Islay and Jura Community Enterprises have been granted £17,167 and will use the funding to support veterans and retired emergency services personnel on Islay.
