POLICE have welcomed the conviction of a Fort William man, and another from Inverness, after the pair admitted hare coursing offences.
Raymond McPhee, 25, of Fort William, and Steven Campbell, 21, of Inverness, both pleaded guilty to the wildlife offences at Inverness Sheriff Court on Wednesday August 23.
The two were disrupted while hare coursing on farmland near Allanfearn, east of Inverness, in January this year.
