DOCUMENTARY makers have been filming at Nories chip shop in Oban.

The family firm of fryers was approached by a production crew that wanted them to feature in a documentary celebrating Scotland’s diversity.

Anthony Norie, whose family came from Italy and whose relatives opened a fish shop in Oban in 1959, said he was proud of his Italian roots but was even prouder to be Scottish.
