PLANS to replace an Ardnamurchan bridge have been submitted to Highland Council.
If the application is approved, a temporary road will be built upstream to allow the bridge over Glenmore River, 25m north of the Nàdurra Natural History Centre, to be demolished and rebuilt in the interests of public safety.
A Nadurra centre spokesman said: ‘Our main concern is that it be done out of season as it will affect the wildlife around our centre as the bridge is only yards from us.’
