GRIMSAY Week starts on November 1 with open houses, exhibitions, workshops, talks and teas, and ending with a blazing finale, 'Grimsay Sparkles', a ceilidh and bonfire on November 5.
This year’s theme is Fearann’s Cànan, or Land and Language, celebrating the skills, history and potential of Uist crofting communities.
Matthew Topsfield of Grimsay Community Association explained: ‘There are so many exciting projects coming together on Grimsay and this seemed to be the right time for us to join together to celebrate them and the place we’re in.
