A LOCHABER woman who held one of her children’s heads under bath water after she had whispered to her mother she was going to drown the youngster, has been admonished.
The woman, who is in her 30s and cannot be named for legal reasons, had originally appeared in court in June, when she admitted committing the offence on May 24 last year, and had sentencing deferred for three months for a supplemented community justice and social work report and advice from the children’s panel.
She then appeared before Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald at Fort William Sheriff Court in September and had her sentence deferred for a further six months.
