It is a perfect day across Dartmoor National Park. Blue sky as far as you can see, the sun already hot on the back of my neck. It is the kind of day that makes me feel grateful and appreciate the strength in my legs, air in my lungs and the beauty of what my eyes can see. I follow a trail of fellow swimmers and walkers, some I know, some I don’t, all in bright orange t-shirts and all here for the same reason. To remember Felix Murdin.
