Love is in the air this February, and you’ll love what we have in store for you this issue. In a modern twist on an oriental lassic, Lynne Goldsworthy creates a beautiful Sakura Japanese Garden Quilt for Makower UK. If you’re looking for a super-quick make, though, why not try the one block Flower rawstring Pouch by Lesley Coles. Lin Clements adds a new level of chic to her home this issue with a duo of striking black, white and red On The Town Cushions. If you’re looking to make a bold vibrant statement, chez vous, why not have a go at Stuart Hillard’s Lace Mountain Quilt, using the latest Zandra Rhodes fabrics. Spring is at is freshest with Janet Goddard’s Tickled Pink Quilt using Dresden plate piecing and appliquéd flowers. Mandy Munroe is back this issue with part two of her modern Sew Happy Quilt-Along and Sarah Sparkes is having fun making an appliquéd Rainbow Fish Cushion, perfect for a children’s bedroom. Finally in projects this month, Kerry Foster takes inspiration from the persimmon flower and combines it with the convenience of pre-cuts to make her fabulous Diaspyros Quilt.
