Because I’m worth it. That’s what the famous star says in the famous ad, flicking her shiny locks back from her immaculately made-up face. Yes, we think, she is worth it. She probably doesn’t get out of bed for less than £10,000; she’s young, beautiful and successful; she deserves everything. But when it comes to us, we’re far too willing to devalue ourselves and forget that we, too, are worth it.
