Rugby League World Magazine 378 Back Issue

Warrington Wolves are fast becoming masters of the art of winning the Challenge Cup at Wembley. If you attended the final in person, we hope you had a great day, no matter where your loyalties rest. The cup final remains one of sport’s great occasions which we all need to cherish.
It was prescient of Jamie Jones-Buchanan to enquire of Phil Bentham what his views were on the shoulder charge, given that one such collision should have such a decisive impact on the destiny of this year’s Challenge Cup. JJB spoke to Phil just days before he was chosen to be the video referee at Wembley, and this fascinating interaction between player and official is not to be missed. Also on a cup final theme, Jon Wells analyses the ten seconds that changed the course of the match and Dave Hadfield looks at the legacy of Lance Todd, who gave his name to the man of the match award won this time round by our cover star Brett Hodgson.
As Bradford Bulls emerge from administration, we chat to Brett Kearney, one of the stars keeping the ship afloat at Odsal, and in the aftermath of the disappointing news that Northampton Rebels will not be joining Championship One next season, we’re pleased to report that Rugby League remains alive in the area at grassroots level.
Secret Speccie has ruffled a few feathers recently and you can find out if any of those belong to the Robins at Hull KR as he pays a visit to New Craven Park.
We go behind the scenes at Premier Sports TV to assess the impact these new kids on the box have had on the game at Championship level.
With the London 2012 Paralympic Games about to draw to a close, we examine how Rugby League looks after its own when serious injury strikes. There’s also an opportunity to win some Paralympic goodies, plus Rugby League books, shirts and signed copies of Robbie Hunter-Paul’s autobiography.
There’s lots more to enjoy inside another packed issue.
