As I write this we are a few days away from Friday the 13th, which makes me think about the whole concept of bad luck. Most of us laugh at that kind of stuff, but there are people out there who actually take it seriously and freak out if they break a mirror or won’t walk under a ladder. I wonder: What do they think the mechanism behind the universal bad luck program is? There must be some sort of cause and effect, some sort of cosmic program responsible for the purveyance of bad luck.
