INSTALLING A VINTAGE AIR KIT IN A ’67-’72 C10
01 Here’s the test subject: a 1971 Chevy stepside that’s desperately in need of cooler air.
02 We’re going to be building custom A/C lines for this one, which means we need a fancy kit like this one from Mastercool.

TRUCKS ARE FUN—I THINK WE ALL CAN AGREE ON THAT. But imagine it’s the middle of the summer, the temps are sweltering, and the only way to get cool air is to crank the windows and pray you don’t hit traffic. The solution, of course, is A/C, and to do that in your truck, there’s one obvious place to go: Vintage Air.

But this isn’t a typical Vintage Air install. The crew at OverPower Customs had this trick little ’71 shortbed that needed A/C, but was running the venerable LS engine for a powerplant.
