AS YOU’RE READING THIS, I’M SURE YOU’RE AWARE THAT THE ALMIGHTY SEMA SHOW IS DONE AND OVER, BUT WHILE WE WERE PUTTING THESE WORDS ON PAPER, OUR FIRST ANNUAL CROSS-COUNTRY ROAD TRIP FROM FLORIDA TO VEGAS WILL BE LEAVING IN JUST FIVE SHORT DAYS.
The original goal for this year’s cruise was to follow six freshly built trucks as they attempted the 2,000-mile tour to prove their roadworthiness and builders’ skills, as well as put the reliability of the parts they installed to the ultimate test. Unfortunately, plans don’t always work out and some builds were delayed for unforeseeable reasons. The delays, along with a record number of SEMA-featured trucks, left a few builders without a parking spot at the big show, but we will check back with them in some upcoming issues.
