THE 2019 SPECIALTY EQUIPMENT MARKET ASSOCIATION, OR SEMA FOR SHORT, WAS ONCE AGAIN A HISTORIC GATHERING OF STREET RODS AND CUSTOM TRUCKS FOR AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in November, SEMA was a melting pot of rides from every corner of the market with a myriad of manufacturers that produce parts for every aspect of the industry.
With more than 2,400 exhibitors on display and a product showcase that featured nearly 3,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components, it was easy to see why this is the single most important event of the year. This four-day showcase of shiny stuff is where celebrities, builders, owners and enthusiasts all gather to collectively evolve the industry for the greater good of all humankind. OK. Maybe that’s a little dramatic. But if you’ve had the opportunity to attend this amazing show, I think you would probably agree.
