WORLD CUP WARNING
Jonny Bairstow used the first day of England’s tour of the Caribbean to declare that this “special” group of players can not only win this summer’s Champions
Trophy but the 2019 World Cup. England trained yesterday at Warner Park in St Kitts ahead of tomorrow’s opening warm-up match against a West Indies Board XI. The first of three ODIs against West Indies starts a week today and triggers the countdown to the Champions Trophy, which starts with England’s match against Bangladesh at The Oval on June 1.
