Be prepared

It can be tricky finding vegan snacks on the go. We often prepare homemade energy balls or take last night’s leftovers with us when we’re out and about, just in case we’re stranded when the hunger hits!

Be confident

We used to feel awkward eating out at restaurants, because we didn’t want to cause a fuss. But soon enough we found the confidence to ask for vegan options and we realised most places are more than happy to accommodate.

Simple swaps

Some people can turn vegan overnight, but for most of us it’s a gradual process. Start by making simple swaps like choosing plantbased milks, margarines and yoghurts, then experiment by ‘veganising’ your go-to meals.
