Giverny is a chocolate box town in the upper Normandy region of France. During high season (May to June) it is packed with tourists coming on an art pilgrimage. This is the town impressionist painter Claude Monet lived in for many years, even dying here in 1926. His house (home to scenes from some of his most famous works) is now open to the public, and draws adoring art fans from across the globe.
For impressionist art buffs, it is a must-visit, but how does the village cater to vegans?
