Portuguese vibe

The Portuguese Karting Championship is enjoying one of the best of its past six seasons, rivaling the 2012 season, when the opening event featured 112 drivers.

The first three rounds of the Portugal Karting Championship 2018, held in Viana do Castelo, Leiria and Braga, featured nearly 100 drivers. The drivers and their families, teams and fans of Karting were all impressed about the work of the promoter Riakart and the Portuguese Federation of Automobilism and Karting (FPAK).

This season’s Portuguese Karting Championship races also introduced the Kart Kid Race School Trophy. It is divided in two classes: Kids 1 (from 5 to 7 years) and Kids 2 (from 8 to 10 years), reserved to children who have never had a sports license.

The goal is formation and to compete at the same time.
