Top: Mad Riis (center) winner of Race 1 ahead of James Wharton (left) and Mike Van Vugt (right). The latter, however, will still have the opportunity to celebrate, given that at the end of the weekend he was crowned new Junior Champion. Left: DD2 star, Daniel Machacek (430).
On the 1,180 meters of Bruck's Speedworld, the third and penultimate round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy was staged. The central theme of the event was undoubtedly the heat, against which the drivers had to make the proverbial extra effort to bring out the best of their equipment. Mads Riis (Junior MAX), Lukas Wanner (Senior MAX), Daniel Machacek (DD2) and Manuel Tenschert (DD2 Masters) were the stage winners in their respective categories. Also rejoicing at Bruck, however, were Mike van Vugt and Martin Henckel Mortensen, who in Junior and DD2 secured the title and then the invitation for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals at the end of the year in Paraiba.
