The new engine has finally re-proposed a competitive condition worthy of the international stage. And the title “CIK FIA Karting World Championship” settles into its proper place. The 2018 kermesse proffered so many twists and turns that it could be performed or played on a film or theater stage. The main character of this show was, without a doubt, Lorenzo Travisanutto. Of course, the 18-year old driver from Spilfimbergo is not yet comparable to Michel Vaillant, a character created by Jean Gratin in 1957, but the CIK season that has just ended was strongly inluenced by his deeds.
