ITALY SUMMONS

Lorenzo Travisanutto and Luigi Coluccio bring Italian karting back to the top of CIK FIA competitions. For Italy it is the first success in an OK World Cup.

It arrived in the end, finally. With the victory of Lorenzo Travisanutto, Italy finally brings home the first world title in the queen class of direct drive karting, the OK, which since the establishment of the homologated class in 2015 had never heard the anthem of Mameli resound on the podium. Travisanutto’s was in fact an expected triumph (even more appreciated thanks to the presence of Nico Rosberg) and was obtained at the culmination of a season wherein the Spilimbergo driver had proved to be extremely fast, but had not yet managed to fulfill his potential by transforming it into victory.
