Forgotten son

This kart model was born from the ashes of the Italkart, almost an “exodised” frame for the circumstances related to the closure of the company and maintained on the market thanks to the perseverance of the supplier
The kart model that gave birth to the passion of Stefano Dovigo and Davide Gallo -hence to the Go-Kart Laboratory -is the Zoom model produced by Meccanica Moderna Milano in 1961. This kart has had a quite particular gestation: in reality it should have been an Italkart, had the company not closed. So one of the suppliers, the one who made the tube pylons in Bassano del Grappa, found himself with these frames to be delivered that would never have been collected. What did he do? Without losing heart, he alone continued with the assembly of the components produced by other companies in the same situation, and put these karts on sale under his own brand.
